Aek Manik (Pemandian Alam Aek Manik / Bah Damanik) is a hidden gem in Pematang Siantar. It is located at Huta Lama Village.
When I went there on 23rd September 2016, no signage for Aek Manik was available. A nice villager was kindly guided us with his motorcycle and the road to reach the venue is definitely not made of those 'fancy' asphalt. Every second I was so scared the rental car would scratch or has its wheel bursted.
But oh boy, it was worth it. When I arrived there, the only regret I had was not bringing a sufficient amount of clothes to change. The water is so clear and it was definitely not overcrowded!
It was also my first time having lunch on top of a 'tree house'. Love it!
